To take up an AEC program in Quebec as an international student, you'll need to meet certain requirements, including obtaining a Québec Acceptance Certificate (CAQ) for studies lasting more than 6 months and a study permit, demonstrating language proficiency in French (AEC programs are mostly in French), meeting academic requirements (typically a high school diploma or equivalent), providing proof of financial capability, and having health insurance that covers you for the duration of your stay. Additionally, non-Canadian citizens and non-Quebec residents may need to pay differential tuition fees, although some students, such as French citizens and refugees with a Quebec Selection Certificate, may be exempt.
